Hospice plans annual Walk to Remember

Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care invites families to participate in its third annual Walk to Remember. Participants may walk as much as desired, take part in family-friendly activities or spend time at the Memory Garden to celebrate the life of a loved one.

The Walk to Remember will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., on Saturday, June 5, at Avila University, 11901 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Mo.

The events $25 per person for participants 12 and older, which includes food, all activities and a T-shirt. Children 11 and younger can walk for free and purchase T-shirts for $5. Proceeds will go to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care.
