Children’s Mercy trains SANE nurses

Area pediatric nurses discussed the aspects of being a Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner during a training sponsored by Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics.

Children’s Mercy presented the training Aug. 9-12. The training helped prepare nurses for Children’s Mercy’s Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner pediatric program, which the facility plans to launch early next year.
