NorthCare Hospice, an affiliate of North Kansas City Hospital, opened NorthCare Hospice House Aug. 2.

altPrairie Village police officers recently cruised into the parking lot of a city park and quickly spotted their suspect.

A citizen had reported car burglaries in progress, and sure enough, the officers observed a man entering one vehicle after another.

The nurse-managed clinic located in the Argentine neighborhood received a $450,000 grant to help with everything from supplies to extended hours.

altArea pediatric nurses discussed the aspects of being a Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner during a training sponsored by Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics.

Children’s Mercy presented the training Aug. 9-12. The training helped prepare nurses for Children’s Mercy’s Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner pediatric program, which the facility plans to launch early next year.
